Siland Group OÜ, and/or its brand (“Sequoia Red” or “we”) provide you with features of the sequoiared.eu site (the “Site”) and other products and services (collectively, the “Services”). This document sets out the rules for using the Site and our Services, as well as the rights and obligations of Siland Group OÜ (“Company”) and the User. We invite you to review our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy to understand how we collect and process your personal data through the Services. Siland Group OÜ provides the Services under the following terms and conditions (“General Terms”). Sequoia Red is a brand of Siland Group OÜ.
We invite you to read these General Terms and Conditions (“General Terms”) carefully before using the Services. We offer a wide range of Services and sometimes you may be subject to additional terms and conditions. When using a Service, you will also be subject to the terms, guidelines, and general conditions applicable to that particular Service (“Service Terms”), if any. In the event of a conflict between these General Terms and the Service Terms, the Service Terms will prevail.
Definitions In addition to any term defined elsewhere in this Agreement, as used in this Agreement, and unless otherwise indicated herein, the following terms shall have the following definitions:
“Health or wellness services” means any medical, health, or wellness advice, including diagnoses, treatments, video consultations, and any other services provided by health, wellness, and/or medical professionals. For the avoidance of doubt, this never includes our Services;
“Health and wellness center” (“Center”) means clinics, hospitals, or other facilities where Professionals provide health, wellness, and women’s care services.
“Services” means the services that the Company provides through the Site to consumers (i.e., users who DO NOT use the Site as Professionals);
“Professional” means health professionals or any expert offering services in the field of health, wellness, and women’s care (this includes, but is not limited to: general practitioners, specialists, dentists, physiotherapists, psychologists, personal trainers, nutritionists, and any other health or wellness professional) who appear (i.e., have a profile, created or verified by themselves or otherwise) on our Site.
Professionals may work independently or collaborate with a Center, but in no case are they employed by, or otherwise collaborate with, the Company;
“Site” means our platform hosted at https://www.sequoiared.eu, any subdomain, and any other platform or website or mobile application managed and provided to the User by us;
“User” means anyone who visits our Site and/or uses our services. This term changes depending on the context and includes people who read or write reviews, make appointments, or search for Professionals or health or wellness Services. Where applicable, it also includes Professionals.
Using our Site in any way (including mere browsing) is governed by these terms of service. By accessing and using our Site, the User acknowledges and accepts these terms. If the User does not intend to accept these terms, they must not access or use the Site.
To use our Services you must be at least 18 (eighteen) years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. We ask that you do not use our Services if you are under 18 years old.
If you are a Professional, you are required to maintain registration in the professional register or in any other register that may be mandatory for the practice of the profession.
Other conditions applicable to the User
In addition to the current terms of service, there is our Privacy Policy that provides details on the processing of your personal data. We inform you about the purposes, methods of processing, who we share your data with and your rights.
Additionally, it is important to note that Professionals use your personal data separately and independently to provide you with Services in the health or wellness sector. This use is based on their respective privacy policies.
When using our services, you are required to provide accurate and complete information and may be required to create an account. You may not create false profiles or provide untrue information when creating an account or using the services. It is important that you provide accurate information and avoid providing misleading or unauthorized information when using the services.
We reserve the right to verify your identity and the information you provide, and may temporarily or permanently suspend access to your account or use of the Services if we detect false, misleading, or unauthorized information.
By agreeing to create an account or use our services, you agree to accept the terms of service. If you do not agree to the terms of service, do not use our services.
To protect your account, you must create a strong password during registration. Make sure that this password is different from those used on other sites. You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your account information and password. If you suspect that your password has been compromised, we recommend that you change it immediately or contact us.
The User undertakes not to:
violate these Terms of Service, our policies applicable to you, or any applicable law or regulation;
use our Site fraudulently or for any fraudulent or misleading purpose or effect (including, without limitation, making or encouraging others to make, directly or indirectly, false reviews or make false appointments);
post content that violates our content rules (including illegal content), as set out in section 6 below;
engage in any improper conduct that is likely to damage the reputation of the Company or third parties (for example, through any defamatory, inappropriate, threatening, hateful, abusive or other conduct);
engage in improper conduct likely to undermine the physical or moral integrity, life, safety or reputation of another person or to harm or create psychological distress to another person;
use our Site in any way that could damage, disable or otherwise impair the proper functioning and/or security of our Services (for example, by installing viruses, malware or other harmful material, or by using our Services for purposes other than those intended);
copy, access, adapt, modify, reproduce, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise extract the source code or any software code relating to any component of our Site;
hinder other Users’ access to the Site by using it excessively or inappropriately (for example, by participating in denial of services attacks or by making false appointments with Professionals);
repeatedly submit manifestly unfounded complaints;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to any User account, data, or computer system or network, in any manner or by any means.
If you believe there is illegal content on our site, please report it to us. “Illegal content” means anything that does not comply with the laws of the European Union or its Member States. It is important to note that repeatedly reporting unfounded content is not allowed and the Company reserves the right to take appropriate action in such cases.

The company retains the right to publish reviews of professionals on its website. Various measures will be taken to ensure that the reviews on the site are authentic and actually come from users who have used the services of the professional in question. Some reviews may reflect an interaction that took place through the Sequoia Red platform, while others may come from users who have consulted the professional outside of our platform, without booking visits or video or text consultations through our site.
Unless otherwise indicated, the Company owns or is the licensee of all intellectual property rights in and to the Site, including, without limitation, copyright, trademarks, trade names, domain name rights, image rights, goodwill, rights to protect against abuse of name and unfair competition, design and “look and feel” rights, rights in software and software code, database rights, topography rights, rights to use and confidentiality of information (including know-how and trade secrets), and any other intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered, including all applications for (or rights to apply for and obtain), renewals or extensions of, and the right to claim priority in, such rights, and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection existing or hereafter created anywhere in the world, in relation to the Site, its content and functionality, and the materials published on it (collectively, the “Intellectual Property Rights”). Such Intellectual Property Rights are subject to applicable intellectual property laws and treaties around the world and are fully reserved.
You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights, and all documents and materials associated therewith, are owned by the Company (or third parties who have licensed them to the Company) to the fullest extent permitted by law. Unless expressly authorized in writing by the Company, you may not: (i) reproduce, copy, modify, publish, download, extract, rearrange, adapt, upload, post, transmit, resell, assign, license, sublicense, distribute in any way, or create derivative works from the intellectual property rights; (ii) attempt to access, copy, or decompile the source code of the Site, or attempt to incorporate such source code into a different website, platform, code base, or software; (iii) use our Site for any purpose other than providing our services; or (iv) conduct penetration testing, denial-of-service attacks, hacks, intrusions, or otherwise disrupt the proper functioning of the Site.
The User shall indemnify and hold harmless Siland Group OÜ from any loss, damage, cost, expense (including legal fees, costs and expenses), interest, claims and liabilities, of any kind, arising out of or in connection with a breach of this section by the User.
Siland Group OÜ does not own the copyrights in the names, trademarks or other intellectual property of third parties on the Site, which remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. We may, if necessary and at our discretion, remove or disable content or materials that we believe infringe the intellectual property rights of others, and we reserve the right to limit access to the Site to users who we consider to be repeat infringers. If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed, please contact us.
You may share confidential information with us when using our site. Similarly, you may access confidential information about us through our site. It is your and our responsibility to take appropriate protective measures to ensure that the other party’s confidential information is protected from unauthorized access by third parties. Information that you make public (such as information that you post or propose to post on our site) will not be considered confidential. We may share confidential information with law enforcement authorities if required to do so by law.
If you believe that someone’s life, safety or integrity is in danger while using our Site or Services, please contact us. We will treat the matter as a matter of urgency and take appropriate action.
If we suspect any illegal activity that poses a threat to the life or safety of a User, we will suspend or terminate any suspicious accounts and reserve the right to notify the appropriate authorities.
Violation of these terms and measures against abuse
In the event that a User violates the current conditions of service or legal provisions, or behaves in a grossly incorrect manner, or at the request of a competent authority, we reserve the right to take corrective measures, which may include:
temporary suspension of the account or, in severe cases, permanent closure of the account or prohibition of the User’s access to the Site. The duration of the temporary suspension will be determined based on the specific circumstances of the case. Closing the account is a radical action that is taken with the utmost seriousness;
the reduction of the Services offered and/or the limitation of their use;
the termination of any contractual relationship with the User;
refusal to post, disable, remove, or downgrade User Generated Content;
sharing information with competent authorities, if necessary;
the suspension or limitation of the User’s ability to make payments to Professionals through our Site.
Providing illegal content or sending manifestly unfounded warnings or complaints is a violation of the current Terms of Service.
The User shall indemnify and hold harmless Siland Group OÜ, as well as its directors, officers, employees and representatives, from any loss, damage, cost, expense (including legal fees, costs and charges), interest, claim and liability of any nature arising from claims made by third parties or public authorities, relating to or connected to: (i) a violation of the current terms of service by the User; (ii) the illegal, unethical, fraudulent or non-compliant use of the Site and our Services by a User; (iii) data provided by the User, in case of inaccuracies, deceptions, falsity or lack of updates; or (iv) the violation of the intellectual property rights of third parties by the User.
By posting content on our Site, such as reviews of a Professional or a Center, responses to such reviews, questions posed to Professionals and related responses, and blog posts written by Professionals, Users agree to grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, non-revocable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works and display such content in any media, in connection with the Services offered by us.
You can use our services to book an appointment or communicate with a professional or center. However, our company does not provide health or wellness services, but acts as an intermediary and technical service provider to facilitate interactions between users and professionals or centers. This means that it is up to the user to choose the professional or center to rely on, and that the professional or center, not our company, is responsible for providing health or wellness services to the user.
Any agreement, conversation, booking or contract for receiving medical or wellness advice, healthcare, diagnosis, treatment or procedures with a practitioner or facility listed on our site is made directly between you and that practitioner or facility. Our company is not a party to such agreement, conversation, booking or contract. Therefore, you agree that any complaints or complaints relating to practitioners or facilities, their advice or the health or wellness services provided by them, should be addressed directly to the practitioner or facility, and our company will not be liable for any acts or omissions of practitioners or facilities.
Furthermore, it is the professional’s or center’s responsibility to verify the identity of their patients, and the Company assumes no responsibility in this regard.
The Company acts exclusively as an intermediary and technical service provider within the context of the Health or Wellness Services provided by Professionals or Centers to Users through the Site. Therefore, the exemptions and exclusions of liability established for intermediary service providers in accordance with the applicable legislation apply. In particular, the Company declines all responsibility and will not be liable for losses, damages, costs, expenses (including legal fees, costs and expenses), interest, claims or liabilities of any nature arising from claims made by third parties, public authorities or law enforcement bodies, relating to: (i) any recommendation, advice, diagnosis and/or information provided by a Professional or a Center, whether privately or publicly (even if such information has been published by the Professional or Center on our Site or transmitted to the User through it); (ii) any negligence, recklessness or incompetence of the Professional or Center or any incorrect or misleading communication or information by them or their collaborators; (iii) any act or omission committed by the Professional or Centre staff; and/or (iv) any payment made by the User to the Professional or Centre as compensation for the services provided; (v) any personal data breach caused by a Professional or Centre.
We assume no responsibility for the contents of any website linked to our Site and, accordingly, accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of them. You should not take such links as an endorsement by us of the linked website or any information that may be found through them. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources. By using these links, you leave our Site and are subject to the terms of use and privacy policies applicable to such websites.
Likewise, the Company declines any responsibility for the content or information provided by the User, Professionals or Centers through our Site. The content published by the User, as well as the answers, opinions or comments expressed by Professionals or Centers, do not fall within our sphere of responsibility. Users exempt us from any responsibility regarding such content.
While we make every effort to update the information on our Site, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the content on our Site.
The Site and our Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Unless otherwise specified in these Terms of Service or required by applicable law, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise. All other conditions, warranties or terms which might have an effect between the parties or be implied or incorporated into these Terms of Service or any related agreement are expressly excluded, including any implied terms, warranties or other terms as to quality, fitness for purpose and diligent use.
We cannot guarantee that our Site is free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for the correct configuration of the information technology used, as well as the tools, software and platforms used to access the Site. It is essential that you use up-to-date anti-virus software. The Company declines all responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from viruses, “denial-of-service” attacks or other technologically harmful elements that may compromise the normal operation of the information technology, software, data or other proprietary material of the user due to the use of our Site. Furthermore, we assume no responsibility for interruptions, suspensions or any malfunctions of the Site that may arise from the user’s information technology, the infrastructure or the internet connectivity used by the user or by the Professionals or Centers, or that may be attributable to third parties over which the Company has no control.
Except in the case of fraud or gross negligence, the Company declines all responsibility and will not be held liable for any damaging consequences (such as material and/or immaterial damages, loss of profits) arising from the use of the Site and/or the Services offered.
Use of Sequoia Red is entirely at your own risk. Sequoia Red was developed to provide general information and educational resources about women, pregnancy, and childbirth. The information available on Sequoia Red is not intended to replace the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a healthcare professional. It is important to always consult with a physician or qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have about your health.
The information on Sequoia Red should not be used to diagnose or treat any medical condition. Sequoia Red is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The content offered on Sequoia Red is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Sequoia Red does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, or correctness of the information provided. By using Sequoia Red, you acknowledge that Sequoia Red is not responsible for any decisions or actions taken by you or others based on information obtained on Sequoia Red. Sequoia Red will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of Sequoia Red.
You are required to obtain the approval of your physician before performing any exercise or following any advice offered by Sequoia Red. For Sequoia Red nutrition services, you must verify that the foods and nutrients recommended do not contain ingredients to which you are allergic or that may cause intolerance.
In the event of a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately. Do not rely on Sequoia Red or any other digital health tool for emergency medical treatment.
If we make material changes to the current Terms of Service, the updated version will be posted on our site, along with a “Last Updated” date. We will also, as required by applicable law or regulation, or at our discretion, notify you of any changes. You should regularly review the most current version of the Terms of Service and read it carefully. By using the site, you signify your acceptance of the Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please refrain from using the site.
Power to suspend or close the Site
We cannot guarantee that our website, or any content on it, will always be available on an uninterrupted basis. We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or any part of our site for business, security or maintenance reasons. We will do our best to notify you if we suspend or restrict the service.
Before proceeding with legal action, the User undertakes to contact the Company directly to attempt a conciliation in writing at the email address info@sequoiared.eu.
The current terms of service and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be governed by Italian law.
Any disputes between the parties must be raised exclusively in the court of Lecce, Italy. However, the User has the right to submit his complaint to an extrajudicial dispute resolution body.
While we strive to ensure the constant operation of our site and the uninterrupted availability of our services, some events are beyond our control. Therefore, we decline all liability towards the User for any disruption of the site or inaccessibility of the services, as well as for any delays in the fulfillment of our contractual obligations resulting from force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, as provided for in the current conditions of service.
This Site is operated by Siland Group OÜ. Siland Group OÜ is a limited liability company incorporated in Estonia with registration number 16446070, VAT EE102470473 and its registered office at Ahtri 12, 10151 Tallinn, Estonia, Attn: E-Residency HUB OÜ.
Depending on how and in what capacity you use our Site, there are some particular conditions that may apply.
Below we list and provide a brief description of our Services:
Directory of Professionals and Centers. We provide you with access to a searchable list containing the profiles of a large number of Professionals and Centers.
Appointments. We allow you to book an appointment for a visit or a specific health or wellness Service with a Professional or Center, including (where applicable) video consultations, and to manage (e.g. cancel or reschedule) such appointments.
Reviews. We may allow you to write reviews about your experience with Professionals or Centers you have consulted, as well as access and read reviews written by others.
Blog. We allow you to access the contents of our blog, on general information and educational resources about women, pregnancy and childbirth. The contents may be available to all visitors to the Site or may be restricted to registered Users.
Please note that our Services are not intended to be used in the event of a medical emergency. If you have a medical emergency, call the European emergency number 112 or any other medical emergency number, or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
Through our Site you can book an appointment with Professionals or Centers that have availability. If, at the time of booking, you have not yet created a user account, one will be created for you and you will be asked to set a password. Remember that the password must not be the same as the one you use on other websites. The User is responsible for ensuring that the password remains secret and is kept diligently in order to avoid the risk of theft or loss.
The information about Professionals or Centers that we provide on our Site has been provided to us or confirmed by the Professionals themselves. We require Professionals to provide us with correct, complete and truthful information and to be duly registered with the professional body (where applicable) to practice the profession and provide the health or wellness Services offered. However, the Company is only an intermediary that facilitates interactions between Users and Professionals. Therefore, we make no representations or warranties regarding the qualifications, skills, suitability, quality of work, hours of work, fees, insurance coverage or other information relating to Professionals. Therefore, we are not responsible and will not be liable in any event to you, or anyone else, for any decision made or action taken by you in reliance on such information. We do not endorse in any way any specific Practitioner, procedure, review or other information listed or accessible through our Site. While it is the sole responsibility of the Practitioner to be suitable and able to provide the appropriate advice, treatment, care or procedure, you are ultimately responsible for your choice of Practitioner.
Please note that the information on our Site is provided for informational purposes only and that you use it at your own risk, and should not be used or construed as advice or recommendations of any kind, nor should it ever be used as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, care, treatment or procedure performed by a Professional. Nothing stated or published on our Site is intended to, and should not be considered, the practice or advice of medicine or the provision of medical care. Do not disregard, avoid or delay obtaining medical advice from a qualified medical professional based on what you read on the Site and do not use the Site or the Services for emergency medical care. In the event of a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
You are responsible for paying the fee and fulfilling any other contractual obligations to the professional. If you book an appointment and do not show up or cancel for any reason, you may be subject to possible charges or penalties imposed by the professional.
We encourage you to read all the Professional’s terms and conditions before making your booking, including their refund and cancellation policy which may be posted on their profile on our Site.
Without prejudice to any specific conditions that may apply to an appointment, the Company declines all liability in the event of cancellation by the Professional or Centre after the User has booked an appointment via our Site.
All Professionals who have a profile on our Site must have the required qualifications. Professionals must never provide false, incorrect or misleading information. The Company reserves the right to regularly verify the identity and qualifications of the Professional and to suspend or close the profiles of Professionals if it reasonably suspects that the Professional does not have the required qualifications or has provided false, incorrect or misleading information.
If the User, as a Professional, does not wish to have a profile on our Site, he/she can ask us to delete it at any time. In this case, we will delete the profile within a reasonable period of time, unless there are overriding reasons of public interest or a legitimate interest that we believe prevail over your request and that we will communicate to you in any case before making a final decision.
If, after asking us to delete your profile, you decide to create a new profile in the future, we will be entitled to publish reviews associated with your previous profiles in your new profile, where they are still available under our retention periods.
If you are a Professional subscribed to Sequoia Red (including Professionals who work with a Subscribed Center), the Services we provide to you as a customer may be governed by a separate service agreement between us and you, or the Center, as applicable. In the event of a conflict between these terms of service and the service agreement, the service agreement shall prevail.
If you are a Professional who collaborates with a Center whose subscription includes your
public profile on our Site, we will follow the instructions of the Center on how to proceed with such profile and information relating to the Health or Wellness Services rendered at the Center. In such event, any issues relating to such profile must be resolved directly between the Professional and the Center. The Company declines any liability on the part of the Professional in this regard.
Notwithstanding the foregoing or any other provision in these Terms of Service, we reserve the right to remove or temporarily suspend a Professional or Center profile from our Site if we reasonably believe that a User’s health and/or safety may be at risk, that the Professional or Center has engaged in offensive or inappropriate behavior, or that they have violated any provision of our Terms of Service or policies.
